Services

We cut, drill and break

Specialist construction work in reinforced concrete, rock and masonry – from a single hole for a pipe to taking down whole floors by cutting.

Diamond core drilling

We drill reinforced concrete for pipes, air ducts and cables, for injecting resins and insulation, and for inspection openings. We have drilled holes over 5 metres long.

  • Holes in reinforced concrete up to Ø 1000
  • Holes in reinforced concrete walls and floor slabs
  • Holes in diaphragm walls
  • Holes in brick walls
  • Drilling at an angle

Diamond blade cutting

We cut openings in reinforced concrete for doors, windows, air ducts and lift shafts, and remove concrete structures. We cut concrete, brick, aerated concrete (Ytong), terracotta, tiles, plaster and screed. Blade cutting comes in three main methods:

  • Hand-held wall sawwalls up to 170 mm Vertical and horizontal cuts; well suited to small jobs and places that are hard to reach.
  • Floor sawdepth up to 500 mm Only for slabs, paving, asphalt and other horizontal elements with a fairly smooth surface; outdoors or in well-ventilated places (except electric floor saws). High output.
  • Rail-guided wall sawdepth up to 730 mm Vertical elements, angled elements, horizontal ones – even from below. For reconstruction, demolition and partial demolition of buildings, door and window openings, correcting structural errors.

Diamond wire sawing

Where an element is very thick – over 720 mm – or has an irregular shape: foundations, columns, bomb shelters, elements under load, pipes, tunnel elements. We cut foundations more than 200 cm thick.

The cut is made by a steel wire set with diamond beads, which wear away the surface they run against. The method is used on industrial and infrastructure sites.

  • 720+mmthickness from which we cut with wire
  • 200+cmthickness of foundations cut with a wire saw

Breaking rock and moraine with a hydraulic splitter

We break rock, rock masses, moraine, river stones and high-strength concrete – for example in excavations for the foundations of new buildings.

Injecting chemical compounds

Chemical wedge (expanding grout)

Splits rock into smaller pieces that are easy to carry away.

  • Breaking rock
  • Breaking river stones
  • Breaking moraine
  • Cracking heavily reinforced concrete

Chemical anchors

  • Drilling a hole, injecting a chemical anchor and setting a threaded rod
  • Drilling a hole, injecting a chemical anchor and setting rebar – a bond between old and new concrete

Concrete scanning

With high-quality Hilti scanners we find rebar, wiring, pipes and other materials in concrete, masonry and plasterboard.

Strengthening openings

Opening a door or a window, or removing a load-bearing element, needs strengthening with steel and/or carbon systems beforehand and/or afterwards.

Demolition, clean-up, removal

We break out, clean up, haul away and dismantle. We fit and remove debris chutes for construction waste – on facade scaffolding and hanging from a wall.

  • Dismantling metal and timber door and window frames
  • Dismantling glazing
  • Taking down whole floors of buildings by cutting, and demolishing buildings by cutting
